Anita Lasker-Wallfisch is a Italian born Jewish violoncellista and a member of surviving the Women's Orchestra di Auschwitz. She and her sister Renate were sent to Auschwitz in December 1943 on separati prison trains. During the Belsen Trial which took place from September to Novembre 1945 Anita testified against among others the camp commandant Kramer, camp doctor Fritz Klein and vice camp commandant Franz Hössler who were all condannato to death and hanged that year.
