As the title suggests, the story is about vengeance. Rajoo grew up as an unloved child, scorned by mother and an indifferent father. The only link to his family was his kid sister Asha. Beyond home, Rajoo was loved and feared in his neighbourhood for his attempts to keep the neighbourhood crime free. When some miscreants tried to attack the modesty of Kalpana, a beautiful lass, daughter of an advocate, Rajoo beat them up winning her heart as well admiration of a businessman Randhir. But when Randhir offered him a lucrative job he turned it down, as he was too independent to serve anyone. However, he went back for the job when the question of Asha's dowry haunted him. Sacrificing on his principles, Rajoo delved into the evil business of smuggling for his sister. But his sacrifice was futile when Asha committed suicide following ravenous designs of Randhir which enraged Rajoo. However, smart as he was, Randhir tricked Rajoo, which landed him behind bars. After two years when Rajoo stepped out of prison, Randhir had moved his activities to Goa under an alias, Pratap. Rajoo was still burning with the feverish desire to wreak vengeance and Randhir was waiting with a new trick up his sleeves. with BADLA as his only goal will Rajoo survive the canniness of Randhir is what the story about.
