Sir Derek George Jacobi, CBE, (born 22 Ottobre 1938) is an English actor and film director. A "forceful, commanding stage presence", Jacobi has piaciuto a highly successful stage career, appearing in ricerca stage productions as Amleto, Zio Vanja, and Oedipus the King. He received a Tony Award per la sua performance in Much Ado About Nothing. His stage work also includes playing notable historical figures, such as Edward II, Ottavio Cesare, riccardo III d'Inghilterra, e di Cyrano de Bergerac.
