One of the early movies of Karthik and Suhasini . Both are cousins always fighting , squabbling , teasing each other. Both are fond of each other at the same time. their parents Vadivukarasi and VK Ramasamy want them to get married. They both decide to take a break from each other before marriage and Karthik sets out with his friends for a few days. He gets into an accident and is saved by a tribal group. The daughter of the chieftain Tulasi takes good care of him and they eventually fall in love . A few duets later , he brings her to the city to acquaint herself with the city life. Suhasini is shocked at this and tries to break up their relation ship . Karthik is adamant that he will marry on her. After some problems, Tulasi adapts herself very well with city life . Manorama , their cook helps her a great deal in this . Suhasini often fights with Tulasi to go away . Finally Tulasi's cousin comes to the city in search of her . In the ensuing fight, Tulasi stabs him to death and also kills herself . Suhasini gets Karthik. All three main cast Suhasini, Karthik and Tulasi are cute in their early roles. Manorama and Gaundermani light up the screen as the cook couple with their tactics . Over all a fine family fare .
