Marika Vargosh is a girl with a dark past and a difficult present. An orphan with no education, she is forced to work in a brothel to get enough for a living. And everything would be fine if it weren't for the terrible visions that haunt Marika — about her parents killed by strange people with crosses on their wrists, and about her missing brother, whom she has been unsuccessfully searching for for many years.
