In the winter of Showa 62 (1987), the muddy conflict between Japan's largest organized crime syndicate, the Kobe Yamagagumi, and the Seiwakai—commonly referred to as the "Yamasei War"—seemingly came to an end. Little did they know that this brutal act would spark a bloody cycle of retaliation that would shake not only the Yamagagumi but also the entire Kansai yakuza world to its core.
