Amanda Lear is one of the most diverse icons of the pop world. She became known in Germany in the 70s as an androgynous disco queen with songs like "Follow Me". But first she studies art in Paris and works there as a model. She meets Salvador Dalí, becomes his muse and learns from him in particular the art of self-dramatization. During her time in London, she walked fashion shows for Mary Quant and always cleverly placed herself where creativity and party life pulsated. She has fateful encounters and relationships with Bryan Ferry, David Bowie and Brian Jones, the lead guitarist of the Rolling Stones, among others. Inspired by David Bowie, she starts a career as a singer and ends up in the disco field. She becomes the white disco queen with an ultra-low voice and indefinable sex appeal.
