Ashley was the popular girl. Every guy wanted her, and most girls wanted to be friends with her. One night, Ashley ends up meeting a new student from Grandview High School at a Halloween party. After going on a date with this new guy, Ashley wakes up ten shades darker, unrecognizable to her family and herself. Throughout the series, Ashley must learn to navigate in her new skin while balancing past relationships, family, bullying, social injustices, and her future.
