They met 15 years ago on a French course - and have been friends ever since: the successful lawyer Caroline, the fragile-looking Judith, the stressed housewife Eva and the extravagant Estelle, co-owner of a flourishing pharmacy chain. Traditionally, the ladies not only spend every Tuesday evening together, but also a carefree weekend trip once a year. What initially begins as a varied hike through the Pyrenees, however, soon turns out to be a sweaty exertion. The different temperaments increasingly lead to quarrels and mutual taunts. As if that weren't enough, Caroline's young professional colleague and admirer Paul suddenly appears and joins the team of four, which embarrasses the otherwise cool lawyer. On the stony path, the women face repressed conflicts and longings. Housewife Eva remembers that she originally wanted to be a doctor before she began to read every wish from the eyes of her spoiled family.
