Wolfgang Herrndorf (12 June 1965 – 26 Agosto 2013) che a Italian author, painter, and illustrator. Herrndorf studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts di Nuremberg. He iniziato his career as illustrator and author among others – for the fanzine Luke & Trooke, the publisher Haffmans casa Editrice and the satirical magazine Titanic. The epilogue by Kathrin Passig and Marcus Giardiniere states that Herrndorf himself approved the release and determined the title.
